The auburn hue of this whisky comes directly from its time spent in the 228 litre barriques that previously held Pinot Noir from Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet. The nose of the 228 features red cherries and vanilla with hints of chocolate and Turkish delight. On the palate, there is a real hint of red summer fruit, more chocolate and a sweet spice note on the finish.

Tullibardine’s signature single malt has been matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The sovereign is beautifully golden with its floral, sweet barley notes and subtle hints of vanilla. On the finish there is fudge, pear drops and soft spice.

Glenfarclas 10 Years is matured in Oloroso sherry casks. It is smooth with the depth and finish that would be expected of a much older dram. A wonderfully sherried whisky and an excellent aperitif.

It is vibrant and straw coloured. On the nose sherry-sweet malty tones combine with delicate aromas releasing subtle spices. Warming the glass reveals honey, vanilla and pear drops.

The flavour is delicately light with a mouth watering combination of maltiness, sherry-sweetness, hints of dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.

Glenfarclas 25 Years Old is matured in 100% Oroloso sherry casks. It is a great after dinner whisky. It is so rich and full that it is a dessert in itself, with a finish that goes on forever.

It is amber in colour with dark gold highlights. On the nose it is complex yet refined with tempting aromas of marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry and nuts.

The flavour is full bodied and robust  with notes of sherry and oak fighting for your attention while not being overpowering.
